727 to 518 in '69 B Body - 07/20/15 11:32 PM
Contemplating swapping to a 46rh in my '69 Bee. I'm not a cutter/welder/fabricator and I don't know anyone that is. Therefore my question is does anyone make/sell a turnkey "modified" cross member for the rear mount?
Thanx!

I did not find any pre fab kit when I did mine last year. Maybe someone knows of a supplier for one that I did not find. Sent you a PM

I thought they wouldn't fit without tortion bar mount and tunnel modification. Or is the 46rh the GM unit that you use a bellhousing on?

The 46rh is the A518 that uses the non lockup torque convertor

Mopar346, you are correct. Without some tunnel mods in the torsion bar crossmember area, it will hang very low. I do not think you would have any chance of getting a good pinion angle.
