Need help identifying a pair of BB valve covers - 07/07/15 02:24 PM

These valve covers came from a very original 71 383 but I am not sure these are a matched set. All of the clips appear to be intact on the red VC and the orange VC doesn't have any clips and there is no evidence that it ever had any. I am not going to use these and I wanted to pass these along to someone that can but I want to make sure I represent them correctly. What is a fair value for these valve covers? Thanks for the help.

1970 hp v/c's, but the breather is a '71 -the AMD repro's are priced about $200 but there were fitment issues that were supposed to be corrected - so not sure on your price - but they don't look dinged up on the face and if no pitting or rust underneath(?) ask the same as the repro and see what happens? Driver side has a bump on the top - will see if I can post a pic - can't find icon on this page

Early 71 could have had those covers also , but 40 plus years later you can only guess who did what ...
