crossram help - 06/18/15 05:39 AM

I was putting my crossram together and noticed everyone else has a right angle fitting coming out of the carbs. My new carbs are fitted with a straight fitting. When I tried to track down a right angle fitting I had no luck. It is a 3/8 inverted flare on one side and 9/16 by 24 on the other. The only thread in common with this is on a compression fitting, however a compression fitting does not have a gasket surface to except the small sealing gasket. Do most people tap the bowls for pipe thread so they can find a fitting or is the right angle fitting no longer available?? I would like to find a fitting to avoid bending a right angle in my fuel line. Any help??? Thanks!!

Kramers sells the proper fittings and the 90 degree fitting that the fuel line goes into. Matter of fact this 90 degree fitting could be sourced through Weatherhead fittings at your local Napa.
