Convertible Roof Issues - 06/08/15 10:14 PM

1968 Fury Convertible the electrical roof gets tired and open/closes just with
manual help. Where should I look first? Hydraulic cylinders?

Make sure the fluid is full and bled the system. If that doesn't help then it's more likely the pump then the cylinders. The cylinders are only as good as the pressure they get.

I agree with checking the system for air in the lines and making sure shes full. Of course pumps go bad but its been my experience the cylinders go first. If your system is low on fluid, it is usually because there is a reason.......= Cylinder leak

When my Challenger got tired I pulled the rear seat. Lines had slowly leaked. Replaced, refilled, bled. Good as new.
