You can purchase the original 1970 Chrysler Rallye Wheel center cap that is made from the production tooling with the correct astrotone textured finish.

Part number is P4510579 and I'm sure many of our dealers who advertise on this site offer a discounted price.

I ordered them from BEA parts. They had 2 70 and 2 71 caps, so they are painting the 71 to match the 70 and will ship today.

???

do you have part numbers for this finsh, and a close up pic compared to NOS original formulas?

The pics i have seen of these parts dont look anywhere close to OE.

They are close, but they do not match exactly. If you buy a set of 4 most people won't notice the difference. But you can't mix and match with NOS. The originals are a little more silver than these replacements.

I bought a set and ended up trading them for an OEM set.

I got mine for my '70 when the only ones available were the dark argent '71 color. I never painted them because I wasn't sure of what to use for a somewhat correct '70 color. What should I use?

compare to the NOS cap posted above. They are the light color for 70, but something is missing...

I think I've got Wheel Vintique's centers, but the MP ones look brighter & more textured. Looks like they'd be an improvement. The Argent Frank Badalson sells is pretty accurate & I wonder if his light argent would look original???
