Do any of you suffer CRS Syndrome?!

I have done valve seals twice on a small block with engine in car. You want to know what I cannot remember? When I remove the rocker shafts, then it is time to reinstall them, there are no adjustments correct? The SB Mopar rockers and shafts just bolt back on, no lash adjustments or anything.

As far as the seals, one type for intake, one type for exhaust, spring compressor and air hose into spark plug hole. Simple.

correct. torque rocker shaft bolt to specs. make sure the notch end of shaft is facing the bottom/correct end of head.

FYI..double check to make sure all rockers are correctly installed on the shaft. they are left/right offsets per cyl ( I will post a pic later)

I used about 2' of rope in the cyl and hand crank the piston up to hold the valves. I don't like the air hose.

with the rope in the cyl/pistonup holding the valves, I tap the retainer/spring with a rubber hammer to unstick the locks/retainer, then use the hand compresser to remove the retainer/spring.

seals are cup for intake/push all the way down on valve guide. exhaust are the umbrella seals that go on the and get pushed down to top of guide, they will seat thereselves on the stem as the valve opens.

lay some rags in the heads at the oil/openings so you don't drop a lock down the engine when removing them. a magnet helps keep them from fall in.

check the end seals on the intake, now would be a good time to replace intake gaskets/end seals.
