Wiper Motor Switch

Wiper Motor Switch - 04/22/15 06:12 PM

I was installing a wiper switch in the Dart and I noticed that one of the terminals didn't have a plug on the harness. I plugged in the main bundle and the other pigtail with the two wires, but I don't see anything for the lone terminal. What does the lone terminal control? Should it be hooked up?

This is for an intermittent wiper switch on a 70 Dart.

A variable speed wiper switch (2770378) for a 70 Dart does not have a wire connection on the B/U terminal. That terminal is the output side of the internal circuit break and left exposed. The B (Pink wire) is the 12 volt power input to the internal circuit breaker.

The B/U terminal on B body two speed (2864012)and three speed rocker style switches (2864014) were used to drive the switch for the washer pump motor.

Awesome! That's the number on the switch too. I was afraid I was missing something when it was exposed.

Thanks Jim!
