Squeeze the tab and pull it out. Make sure to drop your steering column by removing the three bolts to the firewall and the three nuts holding the column to the dash frame. It will rotate down enough to pull the cluster from the top. Grab it up top and rotate down on it. Be very careful with the two connectors on either end that plug into the pins, very easy to break a pin off!
Also it is best to remove the headlight switch pull knob by reaching under the dash and pushing in the pin that holds the knob bayonet to the switch, you can then pull the bayonet and knob out getting it out of the way. Be careful of the wiper knob also, it can scratch the cluster housing.
