Trying to track down windshield & gasket 70 coronet 4dr - 04/06/15 03:28 AM

As the title says, I have a 1970 coronet 4dr sedan. Been having a hard time trying to find a windshield and the gasket. From my understanding, 66-67 2d & 4d sedans and 68-70 4 door sedans should all have the same windshield. Is this correct?

Steelerubber has a windshield gasket for 66-67 coronet 2 door and 4 door cars. Will this interchange with my 70? Their website doesn't show a gasket for my car.

Does anyone know of a place that would have a windshield? The only one I've found is on eBay for over $800, after shipping costs. To me, that seems about outrageous.

Thanks in advance!

Thats a crazy $ amount. I just replaced a windshield in a 64 Dodge and when calling around I got prices up to $650.00 without the rubber when calling big name shops. I found the rubber gasket at justmopar.com and found a small local glass company that will supply and install the windshield for $325.00. Keep checking around with local shops.....

Is your windshield a 671 or a 715? I forget which is for a 2 door and which is 4 door. A windshield for a hardtop cost less than $100 from my local glass supplier and a Precision Parts gasket was a little over $100.
I think it might be a bit higher for a 4 door.

If I can remember it I'll call my supplier tomorrow and see what's available.

That would be great if you could do that. It looks like justmopar.com and steelerubber both have windshield gaskets, so I got options there.
