1970 Challenger Concours resto - 03/27/15 02:21 PM
I am trying to restore my 70 challenger to as close to concours as possible. In an article in Mopar Action magazine " Pursuit of Perfection " it shows a YELLOW painted transmission support bracket. Can any one tell me the correct color/shade yellow paint ?

Others will chime in, but pretty sure that was for hemi and 6-pack cars only...

The article reads Dave Waldens 1970 Challenger has set a new standard in correctness.
The highest scoring Mopar in the Mopar Nats OE Certification history 99.22 %
With a score that high, most likely the glaring yellow painted part would be correct . Less than .88 of 1% not scoring as correct.

But his Challenger is not a 440+6 or Hemi car,so why the yellow trans mount?Or is that a picture of Dave's Hemi Cuda?

My car is an R/T 383 magnum. Did ONLY the 440 and hemi cars have the yellow paint ?

thanks.
He works diligently, but that's gotta be a major amount of hours to do to any level, let alone the level he's known for...
Shame he gets so argumentative and attracts others to bicker...
