Around Thanksgiving I traded my 2010 Sebring Limited for a 2015 200s. Love the car but it's taking some getting used to. My biggest gripe is the radio. It comes on when you start the car and we can't turn it off. We can mute it but not turn it off. The OM shows the different radio options but doesn't describe their use. Ours has the top end system with nav. Anybody have some insight?

The 8.4 can not be turned off, only muted. I believe it is because of all the other functions controlled by the unit.

I have the 8.4 with nav in my Dart. Pushing in on the center of the volume knob shuts down the radio. If you go to controls, you can shut off the screen completely. But I have never taken note if it resets when the car is turned off, then back on.

Just confirmed. When you turn off the radio "reciever", it stays off when you shut off and start the car. If you are saying you don't like the 8.4" screen being on at all, it will come back on if you turn off the car and start it back up. You can only turn the display off temporary from the controls sub-menu. Hope this helps.
