Old shocks in box still good?

I have some kyb shocks i`ve had for 15 years. Never used still in the box. Are these shocks still good? Thanks !

If there's no rust on the shafts then they should be good. Rusty, pitted shafts would destroy the seals in a heartbeat.

rust on the shaft and look if the box is oil stained on the inside in any way,seals will dry out and leak over time.

If you already have them why not try them? They are easy to replace if they dont last.

Many would argue these never were any good in the first place.
