69 Superbee with a missing "S" in rear stripe??

Okay, Has any one heard of a rare Superbee that came from the factory with a misprint in the rear stripe..missing the S? I was told its true, and there were only 5 that escaped the factory that way. Or, is it BS? Any info?

Any letter might not have stuck from the decal package and was not caught. I really doubt you can say for sure a number. I would think this is just some tale.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it, pretty hard to prove and really insignificant.
