what is the part for on a 68 69 charger ?

what is the part for on a 68 69 charger ? - 02/06/15 11:49 PM

I have this NOS part 2932823. I did a search and I found out it fits a 68-69 charger hood indicator. Where exactly does this piece go? It looks like some kind of block off plate. I know very little about those year Chargers.

On a Charger model without the optional turn signal indicators in the hood, these block off plates plugged those holes.
