Enginetech Oil Pump - 01/28/15 09:56 PM
I recently bought an Enginetech oil pump for my 318. expecting the worst, I opened the box. Inside was an oil pump that used the same body casting as the Melling M-72. Outside of the box it said Made in USA. I was pleasantly surprised as the ET pump was around $10 less than the Melling.
Anyone else notice where their Enginetech parts came from?

Some of their parts are repackaged known brand names (Hastings, Perfect Circle, Silvolite, etc) and some are "offshore" under their own brand name.

EngineTech parts are made all over the world. I just picked up a complete set of stock size intake and exhaust valves for my 440 build and they were made in Argentina.
EngineTech does seem to have an excellent reputation though.

I've had good luck with even their engine gasket kits..Repackaged brand name gaskets in a kit...
