E Body Interior Kit - 01/24/15 07:13 PM

I am looking for an interior kit for my 72 Challenger.
I need everything from the headliner to the carpet including everything in between like the door panels, mouldings, seat backs and whatever else. The original interior parts are trashed so I cannot restore them.
I am also going from a blue interior to black.
Does anyone know of a company where I can order a kit?
I can finds parts and pieces from places like Y.O. and Classic Industries but it would be nice to find a kit.

I worked with Legendary a few years ago on the soft parts. Hard plastic panels I got from Texas Acres (now closed). Legendary has the hard panels also. A local trim shop did a nice job putting it all together. The Legendary stuff was good, the plastic panels needed some attention by the trim shop.

I's sure if you called Legendary, they would put together a complete proposal.

I had Challenger door panels made by Palco and they really aren't very good, poor grain, fit and sheen compared to originals.

I replaced them with door panels made by Metro (when Metro was making them) and they looked exact correct next to a good original 1970 challenger panel. They come with the stainless trim and rubber window sweep across the top.
Metro sold the tooling and Dante's sells them.
I did not like the fit of repo arm rest pads either (ones I got from Dante's), again poor fit compared to original but they weren't terrible. I found a good pair at Chrysler Nat's.

I suggest the "Metro" panels no matter what.
My car is not a national level car but the Palco just were not acceptable.

Who makes the hard plastic door panels from legendary? Do they make them or are they Palco's? Nobody shows FK5 Burnt orange that I'm aware of but Legendary... Sorry to butt in, somewhat related since we are talking door panels too thanks!

Thanks everyone for your help!
Dante's it is.
I see they also carry dash pads on a steel core.
I was going to send mine to Just Dashes.
Has anyone had experience with the E body pad from Dante's?

The dash topic comes up all the time. We need to get a permanent sticky about dashes. There is only one place that makes new repop dashes but several companies sell them. Every one varies in fit and quality. The Just Dashes product is only slightly higher and is a much better product in the long run. Save yourself some grief and send yours to Just Dashes. Trust me on this.
