Mopar Pick Up Coil - 01/21/15 12:43 AM

went to local parts house to get a new pick up coil for a friends small block. Leads coming out of distributor were hard and cracking, new one is made different , bracket coil is on is too high, rotor rubs on pick up coil.
also the spade the coil is around is mostly above the reluctor.
where do i get the right one?
this one must be from china

I just went through this and thanks to all the Moparts members who steered me in the right direction.

Standard LX102 Works on either bigblock or smallblock up to 1980, maybe later.
Buy it on Ebay for $15.00
The LX102T is Chinese. I just installed one, looks exactly like the other one.

Because this is such a universal part, there are maybe a dozen part numbers for aftermarket parts. Napa also used to sell only the part that pivots, you had to use your own bottom plate.

The reluctor (toothed wheel that has to come off) also fits smallblock and bigblock.
