Anyone know if a flat hood for a 1907-71 challenger will fit a 1972 challenger that came with a flat hood? If not would it be doable with some modification?

There might be a difference in the safety hook location.

As far as I know, they are interchangeable. However. the front molding is chrome on 70-71, and painted on 72-74. They bolt up differently, and you may have to do some re-drilling to mount the correct molding properly.

I don't think they made one in 1907 
1970 71 72 73 74 all will fit on all years.

Hinge bolts are a smaller diameter for the 1970 models also.
