Steering column parts - 12/12/14 01:28 AM

Does anyone know where I can get Saginaw steering column parts. I am looking for the upper and lower bowls from a floor shift vehicle. I want to get rid of the holes left from removing the column shifter. It is a tilt saginaw from 79 D-100 with ignition on the column. Thanks

Not sure if anyone reproduces the bowls or if they are still available from Dodge but I can tell you if I was looking for them I would fine a floor shift model and take the column out of it, plenty of floor shift Dodge trucks in the boneyards, at least down my way.

I thought the tilts (GM) were quite rare on floor shift(manual) tranny trucks.

Maybe, maybe I'll have to look around for some now.

These columns were used in everything. I just rebuilt the one in my 5A because the inverted torx bolts loosened up and the tilt was flopping around.

I would check eBay. I was able to find all sorts of new parts and even shift bowls/outer casings.
