Out of the blue, my tranny started shifting 1000 RPM sooner than before. Now shifts at 4800 instead of 5800 on WOT. The shift linkage has no more adjustment left. Ideas?

Is the TP arm tight on the shaft at the trans? It wouldn't have to rotate on the shaft much to reduce your WOT pressure.
