1999-2002 Mexican Ramcharger Rear Brake Wheel Cylinders - 11/23/14 03:28 PM
No question here... I am posting this info so it will show up in internet searches. Hopefully I can spare others the dead ends I kept finding while looking for wheel cylinders...
You won't find them, even using the the casting numbers. They don't cross-reference to anything in the U.S. This SUV uses a Mexican-sourced Spicer rear axle. Because of the size of the backing plates and their relationship to the axle tubes, the wheel cylinders have a "notch" cast into them (I think I accidentally deleted the photo).
That's going to leave you with rebuilding the actual wheel cylinder itself, and of course that kit isn't going to show up either. However, I did find this kit which will provide the needed parts:
Partsmaster WCK3608
The bores are 15/16". I paid about $6 for each kit.
Hope this helps somebody.
