Need measurment; Hemi Cuda or Chalenger w/ Shaker

I need to know the distance from the crank centerline of a Hemi (Gen 2) to the carb base, and to the top of the shaker assembly. I am hoping to adapt this system to a Gen 3 project. Thanks Greg

Good timing Greg I just switched from 90/10 to 100% gas and needed to lean out my carbs.

Ok the numbers I got were from centerline of crank to the top outside of the shaker was 23" and from the carb base plate (where air cleaner fits) no gasket to centerline is 19".

This is on a 1970 cuda with a stage V 2-4 manifold with edelbrock carbs. The manifold is around a 1/4" taller than a stock manifold.

The shakers look cool but are a real pain to work around and they hold in a lot of heat on the carbs.

Thanks, Mike! Do you know how high above the carb air cleaner mounting surface the top of the air cleaner is? With all these measurments, I should be able to figure out if it will ll fit under that 65 Dart!

I knew I shouldn't have put it all back together! Lol

From the base of carb to raised center of top of air cleaner is around 2 1/2".

If you do a google images search for 66 dart there is one out there with one with a shaker. There's some under hood pics I think it's a small block. I'm putting together a 66 with a block and going with a tall max wedge scoop.
