No provision for head oiling with a magnum block? Just trying to come up with what to do with what parts I have available.

The first magnum 360 blocks were drilled for LA head oiling. I've had a couple that were like that. I think they were early 1994 blocks. If you cant find a late 80's early 90's LA block you may stumble across an early magnum, just look for the oil hole, if it is there you can use LA heads.

Look to see if there is a hole in the deck for oil to the heads...and that hole goes down to cam bearings....cam bearings 2 and 4 supply oil to the heads.

99 year magnum block won't have head oiling, chrysler stop drilling them for head oiling after 95 year blocks.

Can anything be done or other parts used to make work? Thanks

Could run pushrod oiling, provided the oil hole in the rocker will feed the shaft, or rather, feed oil to the shaft. Also, the magnum blocks have a lower deck height. Not by much, but it's enough that if you're shooting for a certain deck clearance, it might require cutting the pistons.

If you are thinking mag block/LA heads you can T from the oil sender port at the top rear of the block & T & go to the rear of each head & drill in horizontle to the rear pedestal then angle drill down from the top down in the pedestal bolt hole starting several threads down till the passages meet. .080" might be a good start and you can then drill/tap all 5 vertical crank to cam passages & plug them with allenhead setscrews drilled with a 1/16" feed hole which is plenty of lube for cam journals and more than that is a waste of oil volume/psi and OE alot of oil is wasted there especially the one(s) that feed the heads on a LA/B/RB block/heads
