..i need to recurve my distributor or buy a new one
What is the stock curve on the Summit Mopar units?
Who have first hand experience with the Firecore or Mancini offerings?
This is for a mild small block.. 14 initial and 34 total all in
around 2600 or so would be fine.
Don't need anything too hi tech!

We're low tech here! I'd rework your current one. 15 initial/weld/file (shorten) the slots to get 35 total (checked with can capped) then mix/match springs. I know getting the center clip out is a pain but it's doable when you get the hang of it. While you are at you might as well see what YOUR eng wants for initial with the "vac gauge method" as it's easy to do and non invasive to find. You do not have to go with your findings but you will have that info at your disposal

Tx RR...just getting the bugs out of a new build
i'm running an old stock dizzy right now and 14 initial works good but the total is too high.
I have welded and recurved these before..just wondering what the verdict is on the new Firecore....sealed ball bearings, adjustable mech. advance and priced reasonable but no first hand replies yet.
