1971 cuda 383 kickdown photo? - 08/07/14 11:45 PM

I have a 1971 cuda 383 with correct intake and throttle bracket.
I cannot find a good image of the kickdown bracket, or for that matter-a driver's side engine photo with the air cleaner off.
I think the kickdown is one-piece, but unsure about that.
can anyone help?
thanks in advance-
john

71 did use the one piece throttle pressure (kick down) linkage for the transmission. There are two different brackets, one for 383, and one for the 440. The bottom one in this pic is correct for a 71 383. Top one is 440.

This pic is of the linkage installed from the drivers side. This is a 440 setup but the 383 will be typical.

Ok, thank you. That is the bracket I have. But I'm missing the cotter-pin thing. How many levers does it have? I assume just 2, lower one for the throttle cable and upper one for the kickdown. Know of anywhere that I can get this piece?
Thank you for your help

It is a single lever shaped like a U connecting both. I have a setup off a car that I can get a picture of all the individual parts for you when I get home from work.

Outstanding. I appreciate it. 72 rallye charger?
Any idea about the stripes on the side of the green charger in the original gone in 60 seconds? The one that gets the dump truck to roll over on it. Surely those aren't factory stripes?

That pic is my 72 Rallye, I dont recall the green charger, pics?

These are the three parts connecting the bracket, carb, and rod going down to the trans.

Assembled minus the bracket. Note the bracket to the carb shown here is a small block one. 383 is similar to the one on the car above. The lever and bracket that bolts to and adjusts the throttle pressure are the same.
