Is anyone making repo VIN tags? I did not get my tag off the dash before it got tossed in the trash. I am just thinking about putting my dart back on the street and need a tag for inspection. I am not trying to turn a slant six into a hemi car just put it back on the street?

If you can provide a combination of title, registration, fender tag, or other forms of ownership/documentation...perhaps you may procure one from

The CHP will assign a new VIN to the car if the original is lost. Its free and takes about an hour for them to inspect it and rivet a new tag on. I had a beater Isuzu that was comprised of 7 different trucks and had a salvage title, getting a new VIN was part of the required process
