What is the best method to install e body front and rear glass?
With the ribbon or some other adhesive?

There will be two sides of the fence on this one:
1. Old school, butyl tape.
2. New School, Urathane sealer and primers. My
vote is for New School!

Thats correct . If you do go Old School you will need a 5/16 butyl roll for the front and rear glass . Would also recommend you back-filling the butyl with Urethane all the way around to ensure a quality seal m again using the primers for the urethane . Also if doing it yourself , carefull with the urthane , its a bi$#h to clean from unwanted areas .

And use rubber gloves. If you get the urethane on your hands and under your finger nails it's tough to get off.

I've a couple of these installs with AMD glass recently. Since the glass is thicker than the originals, I had to use 1/4" butyl tape to get the correct height. I backfill with a product designed for this called 3m glazing and bedding compound. Urethane is too rigid for this application.
