1971 and newer stock 727 valve body vendor?? - 06/16/14 04:49 PM

the valve body in the 727 we were rebuilding is cracked. I need a 1971 and newer valve body for a 727 and I can't find anyone that stocks these anymore?? Chrysler has none in stock anymore, SMR no cores left, Mancini no stock ones just manual shift or earlier style. I want one that will be a full auto valvebody in forward pattern but can not find one. Anyone have any ideas? I checked ebay and the only one I can find is a 1983 which I think would work??

Any input would be great. Thanks guys

Instead of looking for a whole VB why not look just for the part that's cracked...board member John Cope (CRT) probably has some. Is it the main body or the transfer plate that's cracked?

It is the main body and to top it off somehow water got in the valve body and it rusted up alot of the moving parts so it is shot

A&A Transmissions in Indiana has fully automatic valvebodies that use the stock shift pattern. PRND21 I'm sure they would have the 1971 and up version with the part-throttle kickdown.

When I was at A&A last Winter, Rick had huge boxes of used valve bodies waiting to be put into his cnc machine. I would call A&A as mentioned.
