Steering Column help

I have a couple of steering column jackets, one had two notches for the mtg plate and the other one only has an upper notch.
Any ideas on the difference? I am pretty sure the double notches are for 68 B body...

Check the bottom of the tube for a stamping mark please.
For example a 6 on an e body is for 70 only.
A 6 with a small o is 71-74 e body.

Jules you are the man, I've been trying to id a column I just picked up and there is a "6" on the bottom of the tube! Perfect, now how to tell if it's Power or Manual Shaft?

Top shaft is power , lower shaft is manual.

Are all PS shaft lengths the same with the "6" case? I've been trying to verify the length on this shaft.

Thanks for the replies, there is a 9 2 on the lower end of the column and a ss42 1 in the upper end.
