Slant 6 engine, 727 Torqueflite transmission adapter.

Question for the Slant 6 guys, on this forum.
Anyone use one of these adapters, behind your Slant 6 engine, using a 727A, small block Torqueflite automatic transmission.
My understanding is that this adapter was used during the early, mid, and even later 1960's, in trucks, vans, taxi cabs, and even police vehicles, before Ma Mopar invented a Slant 6 727 transmission case.
I know there is supposed to be a crankshaft spacer, but the guy that i got the adapter from,didn't have that piece to the puzzle.
What i would like to know is if there is different transmission kickdown linkage, to compensate for the thickness of the plate.
Then how about the transmission mount, crossmember, spacing the whole assembly more rearward.
Haven't seen one of these adapters in about 35 years, so i thought it would be a cool enough piece to hold onto as garage wall hanger art, for the time being.

The 727 didn't get it's own dedicated case until '69 so everything before that used the adapter and, yes, there is also a crank flange spacer.

I imagine everything that used this combo had to have parts that were unique to that installation.

There were 2 different crank spacers, for the small and large pocket cranks.

The KD linkage was Slant specific anyway, not sure if it was any different than 904 linkage.

Never seen any different mounts or crossmembers, pretty sure there is enough leeway in the mounting points to make up for the thicker plate.

There are still quite a few of them out there. I don't see a lot of them with the crank spacers still with them.

The new ones were built by AndyF I think. I had one once. It sure was purty.

Trucks and commercial rigs are the most common places to find the dedicated /6 727 but they were also available in cars...taxi cabs and fleet vehicles most notably.

First one I got was from a '69 Air Force tug, sprag failed and took the case with it (GI's love to do wheelies with those tugs).

I've had half a dozen of them. I couldn't give one away if I stuffed the pan full of gold.
