Any one have a good shot of a 71 Charger R/T with the hideaway lights? Did the R/T's have a piece of red trim in the horizontal center of the grille factory?

The original horizontal section in the hideaway headlight grill(s) were black. I painted mine Mopar Orange to give it some color. I have a few photos and I'll attach one if possible (the best photo is too large to attach with this post). email me at

I believed 72's only had a red stripe. 71's should be either bright(chrome) or Black... Or Orange if your not concerned with the restored/original look.

That's what I'm after, the "original" look. Had seen the red bars in a couple fo pic. Thanks all.
