mopar parts reproduction guy in Montana - 03/23/14 04:07 PM

Does anyone know the guy in Montana who does some parts reproduction ? I am pretty sure he is in Montana. Not a big presence in the mopar world but does some cool specialized stuff like re vulcanizing of the filler neck to trunk floor seal for ones that are not reproduced. I want to say a lot of C body or Imperial stuff. Hope this is enough info to track him down.

Thanks !

Probably Freemans Auto in Whitehall (he's closed down now) or Gary Goers (he had an accident last year and didn't do much work in 2013).

Neil Freeman closed down a couple months ago.

At least I was able to save a B-body 8.75" rear and a couple '69 H-wheels from the crusher.

What happened there? What happened to all the inventory?

As far as I know, most of the inventory ended up in the crusher. I offered to cut out all the 8.75" B-body rearends in the yard, but but he opted to take a fraction of what I was willing to pay for the scrap iron.

I had to settle for 1 B-body rear that was already out.

Such a shame. I'd never been in the yard but I heard stories from a number of people about some really neat stuff that he had. Sounds like he either got tired or mad at something and just threw in the towel.

Gary is well known in the original "letter car" Chrysler 300 world. Without his products ranging from reproduction interiors, metal trim parts, rubber items etc, it is doubtful that it would be possible to properly restore one of these classic original Mopar muscle cars.

(Neil) Freeman Auto was located in Montana.

Looks like Greg Freeman Auto is a different business located in Missouri.
