Correct lighter? - 03/10/14 07:29 PM
Does anyone know where to find a correct lighter for a 1967 Satellite? Mine had an accident and now I need a new one. B/E/A, PG, and YearOne have nothing listed for them. Should I be looking at parts yards?
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

What doesn't work? If it is the element then they are readily available on the eBag and at the dealerships. It is the standard lighter that has been used for years...

The body of it got mashed...so it's really not recoverable.

Are you talking about the socket or the plug in. The plug in knob just unscrews and you replace the rest which is available at the parts store. The socket is a standard parts store item.

The socket goes into the trim ring and the knob attaches to the element. The socket and element are parts store parts. What part is crushed?

The removable element part is what I need. I want one that looks right.
