Yup, you'll need a floor jack to jack the engine up.

Yep...

Repeatedly...

Without lifting the engine...

From underneath...

Driver's side ain't bad...

Pass side's another story...

then repeat...... there is no easy way. I had my car all up on 6X6 blocks and on jack stands and lifted the motor up and barely got them out after I removed the steering linkage. GOOD LUCK

Passenger side is the easiest on my car, but jacking up on side of the engine at a time is a necessity. Driver side is a bear. My starter has to come out at the same time as the header comes loose. And of course the "Z" bar is in the way also. I use a floor jack with a 2X4 that is longer than the depth of the oil pan. Jack one side at a time. Be patient or have allot of booze on hand.

I noticed replies for Supercomps as well as Hooker Comp headers. Are they equally a pain or is one better than the other? Do you guy's have power steering?

Just sell the car and buy a similar one without Hooker Comps. SOOOO much easier...

I found undoing the transmission mount helps a lot as well.

Pull the torsion bars. It takes 5 minutes and makes life so much easier.
