My '99 Avenger 2.5 just stopped running. While I was sitting in the car. We checked fuel/pump, injectors, etc, have not checked coil or crank sensor yet. After it died I loaded it up with ether and it fired a couple times, nothing since. New cap, rotor, plugs, wires. Car isn't throwing any codes either. Getting frustrated... Thoughts, anyone?

Isn't the 2.5 based on the Neon motor?

2.5 is a V6 loosely based on a Mits 3.0.

Mine died the same way, put a new distributor in and it fired right up.
