performer rpm clean up - 02/27/14 09:49 PM
I just noticed I'm getting some rust discoloration on my intake manifold. Any suggestions to clean it up without removing it?

Rust??
If you do have rust stains I'd try CLR or Lime-a-way.

Not on aluminum I wouldn't. Now how aluminum got rust ion it, I dunno.
Quote:Are you sure it is not gas dripping or over flowing when hot? I use the Eagle brand of cast aluminum wheel cleaner, spray it on for 20 to 30 seconds and wash it off very thoroughly I've only had one intake take two doses of that stuff to get them spotless

I see where you are going there, rusty water staining the intake. Probably.
