Does Retro Moon Tach Need MSD Tach Adapter?

I just got a retro Moon tach for my 62 Plymouth. I have an MSD 6A ignition on it. Does anyone know if I need the MSD tach adapter to make it work or does it work without the tach adapter?

You need to call the manufacturer, but my guess is Yes. I had an original Sun Super Tach with my 6al and it needed the adapter, ditto with my repro 69 b-body "postage stamp" tach.

Just try it! My autometer would not work without the adapter, even my stock 70 ralley tach would not work, but apparently some do.
