'68 Barracuda Convert 5.7 Hemi installation feedback - 12/23/08 01:35 AM

I have a '68 Barracuda 4/spd convert Roller w/8.75. The original 318 is long gone. I'm thinking about the installation of a new 5.7 Hemi from a wreck. Can anyone point me to someone or somewhere to find out what it takes and how suitable this application would be? What will it take to bolt up my 4 Speed to the 5.7? Any idea regarding the fit, motor mounts, and any other mods required? What kind of HP can I expect from the stock 5.7 and what mods would be required to make the HP respectable?

I'm just in the thinking stage at this point.

Any and all feed back appreciated.

Thx

Hey thanks! If this link doesn't answer my questions and give me some insight I don't think anyone can.

Greatly appreciated!!

No problem, I think the only thing that is available now is a couple different headers from S&P.

The alterKtion makes the swap in an Abody way easy....6.1/Demon here
