Used an Eagle kit from Muscle Motors and One from 440 Source, no problems with either.

I built my 493 with a 440Source kit. I checked everything after I got the kt and found everything within specs. I did a few mods myself but nothing that was a problem. Biggest thing I had was the piston pins are all tight in the rods but it was no big deal to me as I like to set the specs where I want them and all I did was hone the rod bushings to get the spec where I wanted them. Its been in my 63 since 2011 with alot of street miles and a few passes down the track. It has been flawless with zero trouble for the 2-1/2 years I have been driving it with the 493 in it. Ron

I carefully measured everything in the 512 440Source stroker kit, and found all to be good.
Same here, a few piston pins were a little tight, but no big deal.

Never hurts to ask from all of you who have used the kits before to find out what is good & what is having trouble...

Thanks for the advise..

I make my own stroker kits, I use Ohio Crankshaft Forged steel cranks, imported from China BB Chevy sytle long H beam forged steel rods, I use custom made or shelf American made brand (Ross,Diamond, Kieth Black Icon) pistons, rings and bearings I have all the clearances set for those parts by a really good machine shop and I then assembled and check the clearances and finish blueprinting the motors myself You can do the same thing yourself

I am doing more or less the same as you i already have a 4.15 stroker crank & H-Beam rods i still need the pistons & all the other stuff like bearing & so on...
