First, look to see if you can see any letters stamped in the front of the LCA.
If you see letters RW, then your LCA's are 70-72 B Body and 70-74 E Body. (all the same)
If you see letters VL, then they are 73-76 A Body LCA's.
(To me they look like B & E Body LCA's, by looking at the pivot shaft diameter)

What are you going to do with them?

I sold them to a guy, but said they 1/2 inch too short to fit his 1972 roadrunner.

Pins look like A-body... Have him check the stampings for body style.

ok, i'll have the guy verify what the stampings are. Weird, I pulled those off the 72' charger myself, wonder if the previous owner changed them out?

If im not mistaken the A body pieces are longer than the B body. Some thing is not adding up here.

The B body LCAs are curved along the bottom edge. ALL A body LCAs have a flat section as shown on those arms. Visual ID is the quickest way to tell compared to lookin at part #s that could be under rust or grease.
I'm surprised that Jim didn't know that. He is usually pretty sharp on the suspension stuff.

Dang, don't know how these got switched around. Looks like 73+ a-body then, somehow got mixed up. Looks like I'm going to have to refund the guy or make it right with him.
Thanks for the info everybody.

The mounting shafts are different, but the LCA bushings are the same. You can theoretically swap a few parts around to fit a B arm in an A car or vice versa. The A arms ARE 1/2" longer from ball joint to the pivot shaft. It is possible to put A body arms in a 62-72 B car to get much more negative camber for circle track racing. The strut rod location is very close. The sway bar tabs closely resemble 70-72 B arms.

That is not a 73 B body arm!

I know that, but does migBIG's buyer know that? They appear to be 73-76 a body arms, which are longer than the pre '73 B body arms, yet still to short for the dude who wants to buy them. I suspect that guy may have '73 arms.

Well he would have to be pretty oblivious to think he has a 72 with an isolated k member.

Yeah, to most of us, but I have bought a mopar from guy who swore it was a pile of junk because it was missing the front springs. Can't get much more oblivious than that, so the subtleties of control arms could easily be lost on someone less knowledgeable.
