Need help with 70 RR floor shift column>bearing/pic's - 11/11/13 07:37 PM

I just got a few 1970 dash parts today in trade for some of my 71 B-body stuff and now I have questions.

The steering column is more a core than a good column but I guess it'll have to do. The lower bearing is missing and what-ever holds it in is gone....>Does anyone have picutre's of what it should look like.

Also, the wiring harness is butchered so I;ll need to know where to get the correct one.

Is it hard to pull the main column shaft out to rebuilt the column? I;ve never done such a thing but can it be done without and super specical tools?

Thanks for the help.

Who sells a new lower bearing? I looked on some of my other columns and they're all missing....must be common.
