stealth 440 source cylinder heads - 11/11/13 05:05 PM

I just purchased a used set of the stealth 440 source cylinder heads and was wondering what they are supposed to be torked to? Same as cast or something diffrent. Will be using Fel Pro head gaskets. Thanks moparts for the help.

It's funny that 440 source doesn't provide this info. Good question! When I did mine, I just used the spec's for the Eddie's and I don't have any problems. Good Luck http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/misc/tech_center/install/6000/60929.pdf

If they are the early heads check the gasket overhang. The 1009s wont work as they hang in the chamber.I used the Marine Felpros. The cheaper FelPros will work also. That and make sure you use the ARP bolts with the washers.I went to 75 on mine with 12.5 pistons and ARP lube.Been on 4 years and no problems.Rocky
