anybody used the oil pan in the october issue? there are several on ebay that look similar also what pickup to use? seems like a really good deal on a deep pan for the street.

Where is rick when ya need him. Couldn't find a link but it was in last months issue. Used a $40 eBay 6 quart pan and the jegs windage tray.

That's not the one they had to "clearance" so the draglink wouldn't rub is it?

I use the pan and read the article. I also have added a skid plate which has earned its keep more than once. Good pan. I use the Mancini version which comes as a kit with matching pickup. It cost more than $60 but I didn't have to hammer on it.
