Parts book shows 1970 as the last year for LH threads. My own experience is the same. In 1973 I bought a '71 Demon 340, it had all RH threads. My '70 Swinger 340 I bought in 1974 from the original owner had LH threads.

I agree 70.But with Ma never say never.I had a 70 Imp built in July.Had rights all around and the guy was OE buyer.I also had a 67 Fury that had a poly motor from the factory.Supposed to be 66 for the last year. The Fury was an early build car and all OE.Rocky

Yes for cars. Trucks I know through 73. My dad bought a D100 and a W200 new from our local dealer in 73 and both had LH lugs. I still own the W200.

And heavy chassis vehicles like an ambulance went into the eighties.

I have seen them on 72 Darts, so I don't think you can say 70 as everything changed in 73, so I will say 1972.

Of course I don't know the history of the 71-72 cars that had the left hand threads, they were drum brake cars and someone could have put used drums on it from 70 or earlier, but the rear axles were also left hand...
