2005 Dodge Magnum 2.7 ?

Hello, are the 2.7 motors in the 2005 Magnum junk like the older 2.7s? What kind of issues should I look for on a 2005?

That is a big heavy car for that small engine.

Depends on how it started life. If it was a rental car they rarely change the oil.....FAIL!!! If it was retailed and the owner changed the oil it is a VERY good engine. Underpowered but should easily get 26-28 mpg on the hwy. Good luck!

Mopar claimed they fixed all the issues by then but we see them failing just like all the old ones.

I would not take one if it was free, was a dealer tech and they were all junk.
