dodge challenger ramcharger hood???

every time i pick up a set of sports hood scoop bezels i wonder why the riveted the backing plate onto them-does anyone know if they ever contemplated an underhood ramcharger setup that mated with the scoops? were there any prototypes or drawings?
i have a pic of the prototype daytona hood scoop simular to an aar-shame that was never used.
