Can you paint directly over copper on a radiator or does it need to have primer sprayed on it first? Thanks Dave,

Yes, no primer needed or would it be good to have it there. One coat of black is all I'd recommend.

There are special radiator paints that should be used to avoid problems with thermal expansion and conductivity loss. Eastwood is amongst the folks that sell it. Use a very thin coat

Eastwood's radiator black is what I used, turned out real well! Thanks!
