I've got a 77 Volare with a 340. I used the E-body TTI headers. Great fit you don't have to unhook the steering at all. Expensive but they work

I use TTI E-body headers also, had to take an inch off the lower part of the z bar and use the longer rod kit, but have also used B body ones also..

The $120 Hedmans fit very well my '77 360/4-speed. The paint will burn off as soon as you fire the engine, but the fit was great.

Thanks for the heads up. Headers are made to be rusty.
Do you run power stearing?
Thanks

Yes, the car had P/S and P/B.

I do remember one fit issue now- the #7(?) tube rubbed against the inner fenderwell, but that may have been due to using Schumacher conversion mounts. Never was sure as the car was originally a /6 car...and now is again.

TTI for the best fit and ease of changing spark plugs.

I've never seen a small block header where plug access was an issue. Big block maybe but we're not talking big blocks here.

Not talking big block, the access to the spark plugs are much easier with TTI headers, sorry if you disagree.

How much access do you need?

I got a set of cheapo Summit house brands that offer all the access I need to change plugs.

It's not like it's a problem on a small block.

I have hedman cheapies on my M, fit great, no dinging needed, never drug on the ground with the front lowered 1", can change the starter without pulling the headers, the only issue is the #7 plug wire is a little bit of a PITA (it needs about a 45 degree boot, the rest need straight boots)

A 3/8" flange will cure header leaks.

Jeff - A body headers are closest in style to F-Body ones.

Jeff, just plunk down a tub of toonies, and get some TTI's! Then us poorer F-body guys can be jealous of you!
