water pump source?

i remember 440 source had some problems,adding a serpentine pulley set up and wanted to change the water while i was in there, who is making the most reliable water pumps for a 440? please thank you

pump or housing? If pump I'd get a good brand 8 blade (iirc) parts house unit & add a circular anticav plate behind the vanes. You have to cut it in half then weld it behind the vanes (on a BB). If housing I heard 'source fixed the internal restriction issue. Good visual & you'll see it if it is restricted & send it back if it ain't right (no matter what the brand). Mainly just need one with the lower main nipple on the correct side for your app. It's a non wearing part so might see what's available used or what's on eBay.

Milodon has a very good reputation tho probably pricey. Pumps are about a trouble free part as I've ever seen & I've never had (or rarely heard of) a problem with a run of the mill parts house item
