hood performance treatment...on Roadrunners its the black stripes, on Challengers its the blacked out top of the hood, on 70 SuperBees its the blacked out hood scoops....and so on.....

I don't have any pics. IIRC, the treatment for that year Duster leaves the high center of the hood body color and the outer areas and across the nose black.

My '73 340 just had the side stripes,tail pannel stripes and 340 numbers on the sides. I did not know they offered any hood treatment.

I ran across this pic and at first I thought it was just aftermarket, but, I've seen a car coded v21 that has this identical hood treatment

I have seen 2 cars before with the hood treatment and the little scoops like the pic. above. One was a yellow 340 4 spd. and the other was a Twister 318 3 spd.

Those 73 Twister scoops are the same as the 69 'Cuda . Pretty hard to find, the last set I sold went for $ 400 , but that was over 10 years ago.
